Key Information:

  • Members still have coverage. No one will lose OHP coverage because of this change.
  • OHP benefits are the same. All OHP benefits are the same for members assigned to Tuality Health Alliance.
  • Please keep scheduled appointments. Tuality Health Alliance will honor prior-authorizations and referrals for FamilyCare members up to 90 days after the transition (through April 30, 2018). Submit physical health claims to the physical health plan to which the member is assigned. Claims will be paid as an out-of-network claim.
  • Oregon Health Plan has already sent a letter to members in December advising of the transition.
  • Beginning February 1, 2018 former Family Care members transitioning to Health Share of Oregon will receive a welcome packet.  The packet includes a welcome letter, a member handbook, and temporary ID Cards (sent in separate envelopes) for every household member.
  • ID Cards: Health Share of Oregon will mail permanent ID Cards to individual members in March. ID Cards say what health plans and care providers a member has. Members can switch your plans and providers. Most new members will be able to keep their current providers, if they want to.
